A little about me... I grew up with some exposure to spirituality – my mum had crystals, oracle cards, and a strong belief that everything happens for a reason – but it was kind of in the background. I was incredibly curious about cards and angels and fairies and more, and I would have loved to feel more connected to my intuition. But doing well in school and life was the priority.
I did just that. I got married, bought a house, and had a great job helping people. I was ‘ticking the boxes’ of life but, at 25, I started to think that maybe, just maybe, I wanted something more out of this one precious life I have been gifted. That’s when I sought the help and guidance of a holistic counsellor.
Leaving my marriage was the hardest thing I have ever done (read my blog about this here or listen to the podcast episode below) but it was this radical change that shifted my entire trajectory. It created space to build something new that aligned with my desires, my dreams, and my soul. That was nine years ago, and I could never have imagined how amazing and aligned my life could be!
ESP Souls was created from a desire to guide others in their own spiritual journeys. The business name is a little play on words - my initials are ESP and ESP is a known acronym of extrasensory perception (the sixth sense). It started with my passion for Human Design, astrology, and reading birth charts, but I always knew that it would evolve over time.
I originally studied to be a naturopath but, as a highly sensitive person, I felt called to work more with my intuitive gifts and spirituality. It lead me to a holistic counselling course and, even though I hadn't considered this role before, it felt so right. My whole journey was leading up to this point. I have also spent extensive time in self-study learning about crystals, Human Design, and astrology. And now I am fortunate to use this knowledge and life wisdom to walk alongside and be a guide for others wanting more out of life, too.
Some fun facts:
I love to dance - ballet, tap, jazz, Latin, ballroom, line dancing. I love it all!
My Human Design is a 1/3 Emotional Projector and my Astrology is Leo Sun, Aries Moon, Capricorn Rising.
